During your consultation with one of our experienced Registered Nurses, they will determine the best treatment plan based on your desired outcomes and discuss costs.
PROCEDURE
Before undergoing Forma treatment at Norwest Cosmetic Surgery, you will have a comprehensive consultation with one of our Dermal Therapists, Registered Nurses or Doctors.
During this consultation, your practitioner will explain the treatment, its mechanics, benefits, costs, as well as potential risks, complications, and the recovery process.
You will have the opportunity to discuss your concerns and desired outcomes with your practitioner and your practitioner will devise a customised treatment plan that suits you best.
The practitioner will take measures to ensure your comfort while lying down and cleanse your skin prior to performing the Forma skin tightening treatment. The treatment will finish with the application of customised serums, moisturisers, and SPF
Following the treatment, the practitioner will finish off your treatment by providing you with post-treatment instructions and schedule your next appointment. We recommend a series of 6-8 treatments, 1-2 x a week.
RISKS, COMPLICATIONS & RECOVERY
Following your Forma appointment you will need to:
Remain Hydrated.
Avoid direct sunlight on the treated area.
Follow any post operative care instructions provided by the clinic and attend scheduled appointments.
All Forma treatments have risks & complications and carry certain medical risks that may affect your overall well-being. Listed below are the known risks and complications associated with Forma:
Mild swelling and redness may occur in the treated area; it should subside within 24 hours.

Forma improves skin texture and elasticity through the formation of new collagen. However, additional maintenance treatments may be required 6 months after your initial series of 6-8 treatments.

Forma can be used on both the face and body. common areas on the face include neck, nasolabial folds, marionette lines, jowls and crows feet. On the body, common areas include the abdominal area and upper arms.

Forma is a comfortable treatment with no downtime. If there is slight redness in the treatment area, this subsides within 24 hours.

Weekly sessions are recommended over a 6-8 week period. This also depends on your level of skin laxity and number of treatments recommended by your Doctor.
